Virginia Carroll

Actress. She appeared in scores of motion pictures and television shows from the mid-1930’s to the mid-1960’s. She was a department store model before making her big screen debut with a minor role in the 1935 picture “Roberta”. She would have further credits with “A Tenderfoot Goes West” (1936), “Silent Witness” (1943), “G.I. Brides” (1946) and “Violent Saturday” (1955). Beginning in the 1950’s, she had appearances on such television programs as “Fireside Theatre”, “Studio 57”, “The Roy Rogers Show”, “Dragnet” and “Perry Mason”. She was the widow of actor Ralph Byrd who is best known for the “Dick Tracy” film series.
