Tom Adams Dead – Tom Adams who became popular for his role in The Great Escape has died. He was 76. The News of his passing was announced by Emma Harvey who was Adam’s agent and friend. Guardian reported that following his battle with cancer, Tom Adams at the hospital, although the cause of his death has not been officially confirmed.

Tom Adams also made remarkable TV appearances on popular soap opera General Hospital and in shows like Doctor Who, Warriors of the Deep, and The Onedin Line in the 1970s and 1980s decades.

Other than his acting career, he also was made known as a voice over artist who has a beautiful voice called as ‘rich chocolate.’ Actress Kate Wilson who is a friend of Adams shares her fond memories of Adams saying, ‘Ahh, the chocolate of his voice sliding down the stairs…the man was a legend. For anyone who knew him, his face, voice and presence will be sorely missed… handsome to the end.’

Emma Harvey who served as Tom Adam’s agent said that he was a true gentleman. She stated, ‘A true gentleman, his personality was a big and warm as his voice. We’ll miss him very much.’

According to the Independent, Tom Adams had appeared in myriad commercials on television both local and national in his later year.
