Actor. Born Robert Nick Jacks in Monterey, California, Jacks is best remembered for his role as crazed killer Leatherface in the 1994 horror film, “The Return Of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.” Also an accomplished musician, Jacks composed and recorded the song (with Deborah Harry of Blondie fame), “Der Einzingerweg”, for the film. The film also starred a young Matthew McConaughey and Renee Zellweger. Jacks also appeared in “Scary Movie” in 1989, and did voice work for “Slacker” in 1991. He also appeared in and wrote the music for the punk rock musical, “Boy Trouble”, hosted a radio show with musician Gibby Haynes, and founded the Viscera Music Record Company. He died from an abdominal aneurysm one day before his 42nd birthday.
