Rita Corday

Actress. Born Jeanne Paule Teipotemarga in Tahiti, she was a Hollywood leading lady who appeared in more then thirty films. Signed under contract at RKO in October 1942, she made her big screen debut in “The Falcon Strikes Back” (1943), followed by “The Adventures of a Rookie” (1943). Her other movie credits included “The Body Snatcher” (1945), “Dick Tracy vs. Cueball” (1946), “The Exile” (1947), “Too Young to Kiss” (1951) and “The Black Castle” (1951). She also performed on the TV series “Schlitz Playhouse”, “The Ford Television Theatre”, “The Lone Wolf”, “Public Defender” and “The Millionaire”. She died from complications of diabetes at age 72.
