Margaret Lindsay

Actress. After attending the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Hew York, she traveled to England and made her stage debut in 1931. Mistaken as being British due to her convincing English accent, she made her screen debut in Universal’s production of “The Old Dark House” (1932). Signed to Warner Bro.s Studios, she returned to the U.S. and appeared in over 80 feature films. Her credits included “Cavalcade” (1933), “Bordertown” (1935), “Green Light” (1937), “The Spoilers” (1942), “Scarlet Street” (1945), “B.F.’s Daughter” (1948), “Please Don’t Eat the Daisies” (1960) and “Tammy and the Doctor” (1963), her last movie before retiring.
