Mabel Paige

Actress. Born in New York City, she began performing on stage at age 4 and was headlining in Broadway musicals by age 11. She made screen debut in “A Realistic Rehearsal” (1912), followed by “Back to the Farm” (1914). From 1914 to 1953, she appeared in over 50 films to include “Avenging Bill” (1915), “Eight Bells” (1918), “Lucky Jordan” (1942), “Someone to Remember” (1943), “Canon City” (1948) and “Houdini” (1953). For television, she was regular on “Fireside Theatre”, “The Ford Television Theatre” and “I Love Lucy”. She died in Van Nuys, California. (bio by: John “J-Cat” Griffith)
