Lucilla Morlacchi

Actress. A performer of stage and Italian Cinema, she will be best remembered by international audiences for playing ‘Concetta’ in the Luchino Visconti film “The Leopard” (1963). She discovered a fondness for the theater and studied Drama. In 1956, she made her professional debut playing ‘Jenny’ in the Italian stage production of George Bernard Shaw’s “Major Barbara” and followed this with her initiation of Italian television. After being cast with Burt Lancaster and Claudia Cardinale in “The Leopard”, she appeared opposite Rossano Brazzi in “Un amore” (1965). She went on to perform in several TV-miniseries in her native Italy. (bio by: C.S.)
