Lili Murati

Actress. She was born in Szeged, Hungary. She began her career on stage in the 1920s, but soon she moved to the cinema, where debuted in 1935 with the film “A Csùnya Làny.” In her country, also she worked in “120-as Tempó” (1937), “Végre!” (1941), “Házasság” (1942) and “Kesó” (1943), among others. In 1948, she moved to Spain, where developed the rest of her career. On spanish stage, she appeared on “Bárbara” and “Anda Mi Madre” and she and her husband, the writer and director Johann Von Vásary created their own company. On cinema, she is best remembered in “Dr. Zhivago” (1965) as the woman who jump from the train. Also, she worked in “Un Rincón Para Querernos” (1964), “Encrucijada para una Monja” (1967), “Carola de Día, Carola de Noche” (1969), “Proceso a Jesús” (1973), “La Encadenada” (1975), “Historia de S” (1979), “Diario de Invierno” (1988) and “Tres Palabras” (1993).
