Leonardo Anthony Cimino

Actor. He had a career which spanned over 50 years that included the theatre, motion pictures and television. His performances in the theatre would produce awards such as an Obie Award in 1958 for his work in “The Brothers Karamozov”, and a Joseph Jefferson Award for Best Actor in 1970 for “The Man In The Glass Booth”. His final Broadway theatre appearance was in a 1985 revival of “The Iceman Cometh”. On film, he appeared in “Dune”, “Waterworld”, “Cotton Comes To Harlem”, “Come Back, Charleston Blue” and “Moonstruck”, among other movies. On television, he appeared in “Naked City”, “The Defenders”, “Kojak”, “Ryan’s Hope”, “The Equalizer”, and “Law And Order”. (bio by: Angelo Darden)
