James Edwards

Actor. He was a noted character performer in films and television, most remembered for his role as Private Peter Moss in the World War II movie, “Home of the Brave” (1949). A veteran of over fifty films, his credits include “The Joe Louis Story” (1953), “Seven Angry Men” (1955), “Pork Chop Hill” (1959), “The Manchurian Candidate” (1962), “Coogan’s Bluff” (1968) and “Patton” (1970), his last screen appearance before his death of a heart attack at the age of 51. For television, he was a regular on “Walt Disney’s Wonderful World of Color”, “Dr. Kildare”, “Burke’s Law”, “Mannix” and many more. (bio by: John “J-Cat” Griffith)
