Francis C. Hall

Businessman. He started a radio and electronics store in Orange County, California, which started selling guitars and amps after World War II. His company became Rickenbacker Guitar after buying out stock from Adolph Rickenbacker. His success helped Leo Fender, the leading distributor for Fender guitars. Rock music groups such as the The Beatles, The Byrds, Tom Petty, and many others played Rickenbacker and Fender guitars. Leo Fender is buried near Francis Hall’s crypt.
