Actress. Born Mildred Frances Anne Hedrick in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, she made her film debut in “Joe Smith, American” (1942). Nick named ‘Bubba’, her other credits included “Seven Sweethearts” (1942), “Calling Dr. Gillespie” (1942), “The Canterville Ghoust” (1944) and “Swing Out, Sister” (1945).
