Agustín González

Actor. He began his career in 1952 and he worked until 2004 on stage in the play “Tres Hombres y un Destino” with Manuel Alexandre and José Luis López Vázquez. In cinema, his last work was the film of José Luis Garci “Tio Vivo. c.1950”. (2004). He also appeared in the Oscar winning films “Volver a Empezar” (1981) and “Belle Epoque” (1992). He worked in almost 200 movies, among them “Atraco a las tres” (1962), “El Verdugo” (1963), “Patrimonio Nacional” (1980), “La Colmena” (1982), “Las Bicicletas son para el Verano” (1983), “Los Santos Inocentes” (1983), “Siete Mil Días Juntos” (1994). He obtained the Spanish Gold Medal of Fine Arts in 1983. He was the long-time partner of actress María Luisa Ponte. (bio by: José L Bernabé Tronchoni) Cause of death: Pneumonia
