Carl-Ake Eriksson

Swedish Actor. Eriksson was a very prominent actor whose career in film, television and the theater spanned six decades. His acting career started in the late 1950s when he was featured in the film “Pirates on the Malonen”.  Eriksson would go on to be in such films as  “Frostbitten” (2006), “The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets’ Nest” (2009) and “The Simple-Minded Murderer” (1982).    He also appeared in such television series and movies as “Spanarna”, “Svenska brott”, and “Fadersskolan”.    During the 1970s, Eriksson had a successful run at the Malmo City Theater, acting in the theatrical versions of popular films such as “One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest” and “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf, for both of which he received awards.   Even though diagnosed with cancer in 2007, he still was active in the theater and film until his passing.
