Biography

Heinrich Heine was born on December 13, 1797, in Düsseldorf, Germany, during a period of great cultural and political transformation across Europe. He would become one of the most influential voices of his era, establishing himself as a gifted poet, accomplished writer, and perceptive literary critic. His career spanned decades and continents, reflecting the restless intellectual spirit of the nineteenth century.
