Biography
Edward VII came into the world on November 9, 1841, born at Buckingham Palace into the heart of the British monarchy. He would go on to serve as King of the United Kingdom, holding the throne from 1901 until his passing. His life spanned nearly seven decades, witnessing tremendous change in the nation he would eventually lead.
Edward’s reign, though relatively brief at nine years, marked a significant chapter in British history. He ascended to the throne in 1901 and devoted himself to the responsibilities of kingship during a transformative period for the nation. He was laid to rest with full royal honors at St George’s Chapel in Windsor, a final resting place befitting his station and service to the nation.
