Biography

Jean Yanne was born on July 18, 1933, in Les Lilas, a commune in the northeastern suburbs of Paris. From his early years in this modest region, he would go on to build a distinguished career in French entertainment and culture that would span decades.

Throughout his professional life, Yanne worked as an actor, screenwriter, and director, contributing meaningfully to French cinema and television.
