William Armstrong, 1st Baron Armstrong (1810–1900) was an English inventor, scientist, engineer, industrialist. Born November 26, 1810 in Newcastle upon Tyne. Died December 27, 1900 in Cragside. Interred at Haw Hill Burial Ground, Rothbury, United Kingdom.
