Sam Rayburn (1882–1961) was a Speaker of the United States House of Representatives (1955-1961), American politician. Born January 6, 1882 in Roane County. Died November 16, 1961 in Bonham of pancreatic cancer. Interred at Willow Wild Cemetery, Fannin County, United States.
