Biography

Giovanni Goria was born on July 30, 1943, in Asti, a city in the Piedmont region of northern Italy. He devoted his life to public service as an Italian politician, working to represent and advocate for his community throughout his career. Though his life was cut short, Goria left an impression through his dedication to political work during a significant period in Italy’s modern history.

On May 21, 1994, Giovanni Goria passed away in his native city of Asti at the age of fifty. He died of lung cancer after what was undoubtedly a difficult illness.
