Biography
Edwin Drake (1819–1880) was an American oil driller, popularly credited with being the first to drill for oil in the United States. Born March 29, 1819 in Greenville. Died November 9, 1880 in Bethlehem. Interred at Woodlawn Cemetery, Titusville, United States.
