Clare Boothe Luce (1903–1987) was an American writer, politician, ambassador, journalist and anti-Communist activist. Born March 10, 1903 in New York City. Died October 9, 1987 in Washington, D.C. of brain cancer. Interred at Luce Family Cemetery, Berkeley County, United States.
