Carlos P. Garcia was born on November 4, 1896, in the town of Talibon, where his early years were shaped by the landscapes and culture of his native Bohol. He would go on to become a significant figure in Philippine history, dedicating much of his life to public service and the development of his nation during a formative period of independence.
