Biography

Đorđe Balašević was born on May 11, 1953, in Novi Sad, where he would spend much of his life creating music and stories that touched the hearts of those around him. A gifted singer-songwriter, he devoted himself to a career in music while also pursuing his talents as an author and screenwriter. His creative work spanned multiple artistic disciplines, allowing him to express himself through both sound and written word. On February 19, 2021, Đorđe passed away in Novi Sad at the age of 67, taken by COVID-19 during the global pandemic.
