Biography

Mariano Rumor was born on June 16, 1915, in Vicenza, Italy, a city in the northeastern Veneto region that would remain close to his heart throughout his life. He devoted his career to public service, becoming a prominent figure in Italian politics during the latter half of the twentieth century.
