Gerhard Friedrich Rohlfs (1831–1896) was a German geographer, explorer, author and adventurer. Born April 14, 1831 in Vegesack. Died June 2, 1896 in Rüngsdorf. Interred at Vegesacker Friedhof, Vegesack, Germany.
