Ida Moore

Actress. Born in in Altoona, Kansas, she made her film debut in “Lightnin” (1925), but did not actively pursue moviemaking until well into her sixties. She was nearly always cast as a grandma or as a spinster in many comedies to include “Cutie on Duty” (1943), “The Windjammer” (1945), “Money Madness” (1947), “Hold That Baby” (1949), “Honeychile” (1951), “Ma and Pa Kettle at Waikiki” (1955), “Desk Set” (1957), and “Rock-a-Bye Baby” (1958). She also appeared on the television series “I Love Lucy”, “Alfred Hitchcock Presents” and “The Jack Benny Show”. (bio by: John “J-Cat” Griffith)
